Some of the extensions and technologies included in Creo 3.0, released in 2014 include:
- Creo Parametric: This core 3D modeling tool allows users to create and modify 3D designs.
- Creo Simulate: This is a simulation tool that allows users to test the performance of their designs under various conditions.
- Creo Direct: This is a direct modeling tool that allows users to create and modify geometry quickly and easily.
- Creo Options Modeler: This tool allows users to create and manage product configurations.
Creo 4.0, released in 2016, features included are:
- Enhanced user interface: Creo 4.0 introduced a new ribbon interface that makes it easier to find and use tools.
- Model-based definition enhancements: Creo 4.0 added new capabilities to the model-based definition feature, including creating 3D annotations.
- Augmented reality capabilities: Creo 4.0 added the ability to view and interact with designs in augmented reality using a mobile device.
- Additive manufacturing tools: Creo 4.0 introduced new tools for designing and optimizing designs for additive manufacturing.
