Job Description Summary:

TriStar PLM Solutions is looking for a PLM Solution Architect that will focus on implementing high-quality services for the PTC Windchill Suite of software applications. The consultant is in support of PTC Software. This position is focused on the design and deployment of solutions intended to address complex customer requirements. Projects range from basic installations to complete implementations focusing on business process improvement and integration with ERP/MRP systems. This individual will provide effective services to our rapidly growing customer base, delivering solutions to technical and non-technical end users while supporting a wide range of technologies.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or technology-related field desired
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience as a consultant
  • 3-5 years of Windchill implementation experience desired
  • Demonstrated skills in architecting PLM and Change Management implementations
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with CAD PDM and PLM Platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment and to successfully complete tasks
  • Available for up to 50% overnight travel
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Effective communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • US Citizenship (to support ITAR customers)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works closely with stakeholders to develop a detailed scope of work, schedule, and execution plan for engagements
  • Facilitate and document blueprinting and mapping sessions with customers for PLM, Change Management, and Migrations
  • Analyze requirements and contribute to the design of PTC solutions to complex customer requirements
  • Develop user stories, functional and technical requirements for PLM, Change Management, and Migrations
  • Produce technical specifications for customizations and system integrations
  • Design and execute implementations for PDM, PLM, Change Management, and Migrations
  • Work closely with project managers ensuring project scope is meant and change control is initiated as needed
  • Provide best practices for user acceptance testing, training, design, documentation, and delivery efforts
  • Identify new opportunities in existing accounts as gaps become evident during service delivery
  • Participate in pre-sales demos and training to customers as required
  • Create statements of work
  • Lead and facilitate user training and user acceptance testing
  • Mentor and collaborate with services team members on design, documentation, and implementations
  • Supports the project team and customers with advanced technical questions and solutions
  • Required to travel to customer sites in Canada, USA, and Mexico with a valid passport.
  • Record and resolve project issues and escalate where necessary
  • Monitor project task progress and identify project risks and mitigation plans
